Question about a question on the online gun permit app!

Hello, need advice....I'll try to be brief!

One of the questions on the online permit app is " have you ever had a LTCH license before"....well, the answer (for me) is actually yes....but that was over 20 yrs ago....soooo, If I answer the question in the affirmative, then the next question is what yr and then it wants the license number!

Well, I dont have that information....I dont have the OLD pink hard copy of the license anymore!

is there a way to get that info????....Do i just answer the question NO (as if I've never had a license, which is not true)!

What should I do????

Put yes, but say that you don't have the old number. From the Indiana State Police LTCH application FAQ:

If you do not know a previous license number, put “UNK” and estimate the year if not known.

I have had a couple of friends that put unknown and estimated the year and it sailed right through.
