    I am unaware of any such provision under Indiana law. But understand the only time I am involved in real estate law is when someone is ALLEGED to have trespassed on it, broken into it, stolen something from it, burned it down, shot it, inter alia.

    May be tax provisions and local incentives for demolishing eyesores.

    Methinks that if there is anything like this in IN, it is local in nature, not state wide. Blighted municipalities up here sometime have such programs (with federal grant money at times), but it is not widespread.

    I am aware of a case where the new purchaser got burned when the shack was found to have asbestos siding. The "deal" on that land almost bankrupted him.
