I recently bought a used Holosun 510C, but I’ve never seen one in this light grey/silver color. I can’t even find pictures of it online and I’m typically a pretty good googler. Does anyone know anything about this model?

How do you like the sight? It's one I've been contemplating among a few others.

And yeah, that appears to be the rustoleum model.

Loved mine. It is not a holographic, it is a reflex sight, but it gives eotech vibes while being reliable and reasonably durable. About the only shortcoming is the open emitter.

I actually love the optic. This is my second one I now own. I considered some of the Eotechs but I think this one has some advantages (I know some consider that sacrilege!). The shake to wake feature is nice, and I love the smaller size of it, and I prefer the smooth reticle.

I think you guys might be right that this is the HS510C-R (rustoleum edition). The guy who did it did an excellent job though, so I’m good with it. Thanks all.

Yep, open emitter is one of the few things giving me concern. Trying to decide if the AEMS or an old stock 512C is worth it to get a closed emitter.

I took my 510C out for its maiden voyage back when I was in AZ. It snowed that day...yeah in the valley in AZ. I met with the short coming of an open emitter. It did still work and could pass as useable, but not ideal. I keep my 510C on my AR15 pistol house gun. Excellent FOV for house work/ off hand scenarios and where odd positions would cause a not so ideal head position. Outdoor guns get LPVO or closed emitters for rain/snow/dirt reasons.
