    I am looking to buy a couple of handguns but my license got suspended for a speeding ticket. and i also lost my id. can i still buy a gun at a gun shop or private seller or gun show, if i where to bring like my passport and a electric bill and or other bills? or do i def. need a state id??

    Should be possible. Might depend on the FFL.

    1) Government issued photo ID.
    2) Proof of address. (A passport is not.)

    An hour or less at the dmv can get you an ID mailed to your house in about 4 days. They migt give you a paper one until the hard copy arivies. Might take you that long to find the guns you are looking for.

    I'm not making a private sale if the buyer can't prove he's a resident of Indiana.

    :+1: I would get a state ID before I would consider buying a firearm. If you have a LTCH it would be better than nothing but the seller doesn't know if the name on the LTCH is really your name. Therefore you need some sort of state ID to match name with face. I would go to your local BMV and get one coming.
