Question regarding form1 SBS

So I have converted my shockwave to a sbs with a pistol grip and stock on form 1; can I legally change the setup to pistol grip only, say the hogue tamer pistol grip, as long as I keep my original grip and stock to put back in submitted form 1 setup?
