Questions about hunting wild hogs?

A friend of mine has really been wanting to go hunting for some wild pigs. He keeps talking about going down to Hoosier National Forest.

Now this sounds like fun to me, but I don't think he has really done any research, other than he's going to HNF. Where in HNF, I have no idea.

So I guess I'm looking for a little hog hunting 101. What information can you share, where to go, where to find more info that sort of thing.

AFAIK there have been no reports of wild pigs in the area of HNF
