Quick question onf LTCH and divorce

I have a friend (really it is a friend, I already have my lifetime LTCH) who went through a divorce about 2 years ago. During the divorce the wife's attorney placed a restraining order on him which kept him from owning any firearms. The divorce is long over and the restraining order has been lifted because the time ran out.

Now he wants to get his LTCH.

I think since the restraining order is over that now it is like it never happened. i.e. there is no record and his application for LTCH should sail right through.

Is that right?

Sounds right to me, too. Unless he had some arrest for domestic violence that caused the firearms restrictions, I don't see how it would be of concern now.

Nope, no arrests, no violations, no felonies...
Just an irate ex with a MEAN lawyer.

If it's expired he should be gtg.
IMO he should have filed to have it lifted when the divorce was over

His lawyer actually advised him against having it lifted.
IF he did that then he had to go back in to court with her and face the very real possibility of an EXTENSION
The lawyer advised him to wait it out and he did.
really really bad flaw in the system there. IMHO of course
