I just heard that Jim Scoutten died, loved his shows, and He will be missed.I got his autograph at the Louisville NRA meeting afew years ago...WE need more gun guys in broadcasting.....

I spoke to John Scoutten at NRAAM and someone asked about his Dad. He said he still managed to do the show opening and a couple spots, but that was about all.

A lot of respect for a man who built a business and an advocacy around the shooting sports. He's done a lot to promote marksmanship and safety over the years.
