Do you folks (with allergies) run and hide from the pollen or just bear it and do the best you can?

Am thinking that maybe a stuffy head might not have to stop the learning process.

I get shots and am much better now. My allergist gave me the same meds as jake. Make sure to take allergy med BEFORE going outside!

I take the generic Allegra and the generic prescription flonase every day. Works great. Don't miss a dose though.

My allergy doctor told me to stay away from anything with a -D at the end of it. something about its bad for your liver over time.

For some of us allergies are so bad that the common help pills do nothing. I've been going to an allergy specialist for 6 years. I started with shots every week and then every two and then every three weeks until I finally got to the maintenance dose. So now once every month I get two shots. I'm a new man now. They just recently gave me a new test to see where I am at after 6 yrs and my dose and what I take has changed for the better. Maybe in 3 yrs I won't have to have anything. Beats the heck out of being miserable!

    Time out!

I practice and compete to maintain a degree of proficiency in all conditions against the day when I might need it to save my life or someone else's. Somehow I do not believe,"Hey wait I have to sneeze"! or "Hold on a minute my eyes are watery"! , would have much of a deterrent effect on the mug.
