For the life of me I’m struggling and probably having a brain fart. I bought a rifle with a VTAC rail and wanna order some rail sections for a light etc. does it take mlok? I know it’s not keymod. I’ve tried to Google but no real help. It has a rail section on it but I’m just not sure.

    Thanks guys.

Depending on the age of that rail, it may use Troy's older Extreme Quick Attach Accessory Rail pattern. It's difficult to tell without dimensions because like M-lok, it is a slot with radiuses on the corners.

    Edit to add:

If it is the older proprietary Troy interface, these folks have some rail sections left in stock:

I've never done any business here, so I can't recommend for or against. After a quick Google search they were the first place that had any in stock.

Do you have a set of calipers? You could compare the slot dimensions to the mlok spec.

It sure looks like Troy's weird proprietary system. Those are pretty old rails. You will probably need those Troy 1913 sections and won't be able to direct mount a light with an Arasaka or similar mlok mount.

Piece of history lol. When Troy was cutting edge gear for warfighters!

Doesn't appear to be MLOK with the slots on a radiused surface. Troy has "Alpha Quick Attach Rail Section" that are different than mlok offerings on same page.

posting from someone trying mlok on those slots

That's a VTAC branded Troy rail. I had one years back.

My guess would be that Troy would sell rail sections to fit it. Mine came new with a couple rail sections.
