I took the class last year and had to go to Wayne County (MI) to do it. I found it very worthwhile. One drawback is when you see people doing stuff wrong now it really annoys you. My pet peeves is improper range commands.

People doing things wrong is a bother. Like slow trucks in the left lane and such.
