]Let's see him do that as a real Rifleman does it! Shooting tables? Bipods??? There might have been someone keeping time for you, but I don't see a sling on that rifle! You've proven you know what you're about; Evan... now it's your turn!

Shooters! Your preparation period begins now! [

    That's funny!

Yea, sometimes I almost feel 'guilty' shooting from the bench. I've heard techres' voice in my head sometimes scolding me! :D [Ed. note: It's an Appleseed thing!]

I'd love to shoot against esrice with us going prone with slinged rifles! :ar15:

esrice: Why are you tugging on your sling like that?

LMW: Its helping to steady my shot.

esrice: Then how are you going to transition to pistol?!?

LMW: If I can dust you at 300 yards I don't need no stinkin' pistol! :)

Thanks, some people will say that to avoid slam fires use Military primers. Others will say standard primers work fine.

I've been using CCI's on my AR reloads as well, and while there is a noticeable dimple in the primer from the firing pin, I've not had a slamfire. I have used some Winchester Mil-spec primers and thus far cannot tell any difference in performance.

And lots of guys, including me, use Remington 7 1/2 match primers and have no problem with slam fires. I am well into my 4th CASE of Rem 7 1/2 primers shot out of an AR. Never had a slam fire.

No matter what primer you decide to use, make sure it is seated properly.

All this stuff about primers in a gas gun is blown way out of proportion.

That on target software seems very interesting. I've got a software on a disk I've used for years and am really skeptical of. I think if I'm correct I downloaded it clear back in '99.
Might be time for a change.

I've got the v1.10 freeware version, and only used it a couple of times, but seems to work very well for me.

    HOWEVER:
I do NOT recommend the Android App version. Very difficult to manipulate the bullet holes and sizing box, and must have a definite size reference to allow the program to "scale" properly.
Moving bullet hole markers on a touchscreen is hard because normally the tip of your finger completely covers the circle being moved, so you can't see what you're doing, and small touchscreens don't lend themselves well to pinpoint accuracy to center the bullet hole circle precisely.

I'll agree with the last part there LMW! :yesway:

Very nice range report! Looks like a good time was had and good info was found out. I'll be doing some similar testing before too long myself as well.
