Is there a range within reasonable distance of Vincennes that you don't have to be a member to shoot at?

Sugar Ridge is about 45 min. away from Vincennes they have a 25, 50, 100 and 200 yard ranges. It is a public range and free to use.

And very, VERY full of FAIL! It's been a couple of years since my first/last visit. Thoguht about going back, but with the current climate, I cannot imagine that it has gotten any less dangerous.

What was so dangerous? I haven't had any trouble in the three years I have been shooting there.
