I got a couple of the sh1tty Croatian mags so I had to spend a few minutes removing some material. they now lock in to place nice and tight.

.500" or so will allow you to thread it to the US standard 1/2x28RH. There are slant brakes made for that thread so you will be able to give it a more authentic look.

Unfortunately it's about .472

I finally picked up some ammo this morning. Only enough to fill 4 of the 6 mags (1 Bulgarian, 1 Hungarian, 2 Yugo, 2 Croatian). but I'll go ahead and test those out this weekend. Going to be fun.

I'm a sucker for "pound puppies". But, I'm really trying to quit. I have bought complete ARs because of some obscure retro AR part. Dang near bought a SP 2 colt for the sling.
