RCBS Model 1010 Powder Scale, STILL GOOD?

Getting ready to buy a beam type powder scale.

Are the NEWLY manufactured RCBS Model 1010 powder scales still made by Ohaus and of the SAME quality as in the past?

I read good reviews of the RCBS Model 1010 powder scale from people who've had them for several years and like them.

BUT I read more RECENT reviews of people buying NEWLY manufactured ones and having some complaints.

Is this STILL a good powder scale to buy?

Its still a good scale - and remember, any problems, and you can contact RCBS for a replacement. Great customer service.

The RCBS beam type scales by Ohas are very dependable. I would not hesitate to buy an old one or a new one. Warning, some older beam type scales do not have magnetic dampening. Unless your loading room has no moving air, and you never plan to exhale, don't buy one of these old scales, they will bob up and down until you kids need a shave before they settle on a point.

I have one that's about 3 years old. It's a fantastic scale. Never a bit of trouble.
