has any one sent their reciever back to the factory to gey a new barrel on an sb1 reciever? if so what was the wait like were you satisfied with the finished product? what caliber did you opt for and generally anything else you would like to add (pictures are welcome).

im contemplating a 357 mag barrel since i reload it and miss having a 357 mag rifle around. i also want to put irons on it if anyone can point me in the right direction for a gun smith.

Back in December, I sent my Talo 357 in and had a Talo 44mag barrell fitted. The Talo rifles were a limited edition run from a few years ago. They had an 18& 3/4" barrell, and nice Williams sights.

The barrells aren't listed on the site, but last winter they had a few left. ;) Barrell was $90, $25 fitting fee. and $25 for return shipping. Connsider ordering a new forearm for the new barrell.
