This post is not directed AT anyone, or becuase of anyone. I am posting because i feel it neccessary to get it out there.

I make knives as a hobby. Not to make money. I make what interests me, at that time, at that moment. Its my art. Not a money making venture, or something I want to turn into a money making venture. As a result, I don't take orders. Have a done a request or two? Certianly. Is it something I do often? Hardly ever. I post pictures to show what I am proud to have made myself, and being 90% self taught. Aside from folders, I have learned everything from trial and error, reading via the internet, or speaking to someone on the phone.

Recently, I have posted pictures of items I have made. Also, I posted a few knives for sale in the Classifieds. Items that are/were sold. While I view this seperate from the rules, I understand and respect the situation.

I had mulled the idea of a forum here at INGO, but that will take me down the path of turning my hobby into a business. I am NOT interested in that, I don't want to apply pressure to myself for something i do to relieve pressure. I hope that makes sense!

So, please don't send me messages asking me to make a knife for you. Its nothing personal. And I don't want to upset ANYONE, but I do not take orders. If you would like to talk about knives in general, feel free to ask me questions! Anything except for about ordering a knife! As anyone who searches my post history will see, I'm not here to try to sell knives to everyone. I like to share and talk about knives, in general!

I have posted it before, but I will say it again, here. Anyone who is interested to learn, see, or just shoot the breeze is always more than welcome to stop by. Need help on a project? Have a question? Want to make your own knife? Come over. I will give you all the help I can! Just remeber, you get what you pay for!! LOL! :D

My apologize to anyone who has been offended. I try to be as polite as possible to everyone.

    Thank you!

    Joe
