Sears once sold Military Surplus guns, Not WW II Guns but Civil War Guns or if you live below the Mason-Dixon, The War of Northern Aggression.

Those were very dangerous and often fatal if accidentally hooked up to 220v.

They had to stop selling them.

Well, it is a .38.

In the first picture, it says a 30-30 is accurate out to 1,500 yards and another of the 30 caliber rifles out to 2,000.

Yeah, no kidding! Or the Sharps rifle for $2.90... and if you have trouble finding ammo, the reloading kit is only $1.75!

My dad got a surplus .45 from the NRA magazine in the 60's for $25 delivered by the U.S. Mail.

Sears also used to buy and sell local products. I knew a man (he was in his 90's and has since passed away) that used to make doll furniture for the local Sears. He still made sets and I bought one from him for my daughter. Very high quality and something you cannot get anymore.

I would gladly order ten each of every gun pictured, today.
I looked through a 1912 Sears and Roebuck catalog years ago. You could readily buy dynamite, too.
If you ever get to Prophets Town, I believe the 1920's farm house there is a Sears and Roebuck catalog house.

Memories. I remember as a kid day dreaming through the Sears catalogue at all the cool firearms.

1934 was the first step against us.
1963 was the second.
1994 Bill Clinton Bill Ruger AWB.
It continues.

I have neighbors living in a house that was purchased out of a Sears catalog. Very nice farm house.
