I am about to do my first build of a lower. I already have an upper that came with a spring and buffer. I also have a grip and trigger. So, all I need is a lower parts grip and a buffer tube. I am thinking of PWS for the buffer tube so that I don't have to learn how to stake. I have heard Schmid Tool is the gold standard for LPK - however, i am only able to find their parts kit with a grip and trigger. This will be for my go-to rifle (training/home defense etc.) so I'd like the parts kit tube a solid choice - I'll probably pick up two so that I have a spare parts kit on hand. I am familiar with the Gisele name and have been checking out their parts kits - prices seem comparatively high. Which makes me wonder if I'm paying for quality or a name. Any recommendations for buffer tube and LPK?

Hard to go wrong with a BCM LPK. Good solid kit.

Much better stock GI trigger than any of the run-of-the-mill “commercial” LPKs I’ve seen.
