    My little Bro shot a 27 pounder last year. Got a full body mount, he's a big bird. We named him Tomzilla. Seen a lot of 25's, but not many over that.

    Indiana does not have a record system for turkeys. However, the NWTF keeps records and categorizes them not only by states, but by sub-species and then breaks those down by typical and non-typical turkeys. The NWTF scoring system is used for all turkeys, which is:

    Weight in pounds + 2 x beard length in inches + 10 x the sum of both spurs in inches.

    They also have categories for longest beard, longest spurs, heaviest birds, etc.
