Any suggestions where to reclycle an old, non-working upright freezer??

I already had IPL out to take away a different old one that still worked, but they wouldn't take this one b/c it's not "in working condition" (They payed me a $30 check to recycle that one)

I'm just trying not to pay to take it to the dump....

Put it out by the street with a sign on it offering it for $50. Not free. Ask a price. Someone will steal it promptly. Problem solved.

scrap yard? down here in bloomington i would take it to jb salvage.

for example, the other day i took my junk dishwasher over there and got $9.28.

if morgan county is anything like monroe, scrappers would snatch that thing out of your yard in less than 24 hours if you just sit it out there and spray paint "free" on it.

Just saw a truck pulling a trailer that said Go Green Appliance Removal, free appliance and metal removal. Unfortunately we were going opposite directions and all I got was 317 for the number. This was in Plainfield.
