redneck vs real definitions.

This thread is where we list words that are present in both redneck vocabulary and regular vocabulary. These words mean very different things but sound exactly the same to rednecks and city folk.

I'll start.

Defense.
TRADITIONAL DEFINITION- pronounced De-fense
resistance against attack; protection: Two more regiments are needed for the defense of the city.
EX, In my defense, I did not know that she was afraid of rats.

REDNECK DEFINITION- pronounced Da-fence a structure typically found surrounding property, typically to keep people and animals in or out of the area.
EX, After you git done painting defense, make sure you close degate.

Traditional: An oil-based compound used to pave streets.

Redneck: That round black rubber thing on the wheels of y'all's pickup truck.

Traditional - A mechanical device that uses compression of some sort to produce power.
Redneck - A Native American.

Sensuous:

Traditional: a : of or relating to the senses or sensible objects
b : producing or characterized by gratification of the senses : having strong sensory appeal

Redneck: (used in a sentence) "Sensuous up, get me a beer!"
