Driving down an old road once with my mom, and a beautiful hawk just flew right in front of us....almost like it was leading. It was beautiful and I told my mom that it was a red tailed hawk..and RTH are lucky....She responded that I couldn't possibly know that it was a RTH b'c I could nt see it's tail. I said...geeees mom, theyre all red tailed hawks! :)

Here is one I came across while squirrel hunting... probably explains why I didn't see many squirrel that day... he was hunting and catching them!

PS: Sorry for the poor quality photo... best I could do with a phone camera in the woods.

    What a cool freakin' picture!
That would have been picture of a lifetime if you would have had a full size camera.
    Thanks for sharing that one!!

This past year in driving up to northern Michigan on 196, when we crossed the Kalamazoo river, saw not one but two bald eagles fly across the highway and land in trees on the opposite side
