I have lived in Michigan for 65 years. Pretty much been stuck around Detroit all my life. I hope to purchase a place with some land, maybe can set up an outdoor range too. I am shooting for a place in Northern Indiana, preferably in or near Amish country.
My hobbies are Bible, classical music and opera, some non-classical (Johnny Cash is awesome), also like some metal bands (Bloodgood and Stryper). Always been interested in cars and finally in 2018 got my first fun car, a 1992 5.0 Mustang 5-speed shared with my son.
As for guns, I had a couple of 12 gauge shotguns in the late 1970s but eventually sold them and had no guns for decades until the summer of 2020 when I decided a bit of home protection might not be a bad idea. Since December 2020 I have acquired a lot of guns, mostly handguns but also a 20-gauge shotgun. I was a big revolver fan but also find pistols fascinating, prefering metal frame and hammer fired. I shy away from plastic but my plastic Kel Tec P32 is one of my favorite guns.
So with my desire to get a place in Indiana that I hope to eventually move permanently to, and my desire for 2A rights, I decided to join this site. Some web searching shows that right now, Indiana is a much better place for gun owners than Michigan. Our AG is definitely not thinking to provide us a Gun Owners' Bill of Rights like yours has.
