I have a Remington 870 that I purchased used. My intent is to get into shooting clay with it. What, if any, choke is recommended for shooting clay?

What kind of clays (informal, trap, skeet, sporting clays)????

Trap I've run Mod to 20 yard line, prefer a Full to dust 'em.
Informal I run whatever I have, but when letting newbs shoot, put in an Imp Cyl choke.
I've never shot skeet or sporting clays, but a coworker did, and he said probably Imp Cyl for SC and more open for skeet. He was pretty badass at skeet (499 out of 500, registered).

Thanks for the info. I am planning to start out just shooting hand thrown clay at a friends place this spring. But I would like to get into trap and skeet as well. I plan on just shooting informally for a while until I get it all figured out.

Sounds like I just need to go pick up a full set of chokes.

I have a Remington 870 that I bought used. It already has a choke in the barrel and did not come with a choke wrench, so I have to pick one of those up as well to pull the choke out in order to see what it is.
