    Been waiting for part 2! Some good ideas. Thanks.

    However, I'm not convinced there's a clear advantage, on balance, to hanging on the line with 911.

    I'm leaning toward confirming that they have the address and situation correct, and then hanging up to focus on the situation at hand. See the following thread for discussion:

    Sometimes my thoughts don't make it to words on the screen. I'm thinking of my own situation where my wife could remain on with 911. I did mention to call quickly state the severity of the situation and worry about what is next. Thanks for watching!
