Dude that thing looks awesome. When I first heard about Remington making a new 1911 I was hoping they would make it be old school and not tacticool. If it has a forged frame and slide, as someone else has said I may consider this over a Springfield mil spec.

Also does the article say if it has a Series 70 or 80 firing system?

From what I've gathered MSRP is $699 and the gun is made in Remington's NY factory. This is the first gun I am buying once I get back to the US, if I like it as much when I handle it in person.

I finally found a local book store that had the magazine. OMG, that is one sweet looking 1911. I'm rolling quarters and selling my aluminum cans tomorrow. If anybody want to buy some baseball cards, PM me.
