    The barrel should be fine once the obstruction is cleared. But you had a small out of battery ignition. Headspace and lockup need to be checked. Perhaps it is just dirty.

    Drop your cleaning rod down the barrel. It is not a given that the bullet is stuck in the bore.

    Give your rifle a good cleaning. It either fired out of battery (not likely)or the ammo was just defective (more likely).

    Clear the barrel, check the extractor and make sure it's still there and not damaged, should be good to go.

    If you're worried about it, call Remington and send it in to them to check out
