I'm working on my Remington 700 adl project and came across an issue. The bolt stop is not engaging. The linkage contacts the stop just fine and the spring appears to be in correctly but there is a bit of play in the stop and the spring is just kind of loosely laying in there. Are the pins directional and may be in the wrong way or do you think its an issue with the spring itself

Well I drove the rear trigger pin out and found that the spring is just flat wore out. I bent it back into place and reassembled it just to test and it functions just fine now. Now I just need to order a new spring and it should be fine.
