I'm looking for some suggestions or ideas. I recenently purchased a rem 700 varmint SPS with the black synthetic stock. The palm swell and the forearm rubber grips are grey, not black. The more I look at it, the less I like the contrast of the grey against the black, and am wondering if anyone has any ideas of how I could color or dye the rubber grips black, and what product to use? I would like something that is permanent, that might not wear off, and have to reapplied periodically. BTW, it's a .204, with a 26" bbl and shoots like a dream, even with factory ammo. My 1st Remington weapon ever. I'm very impressed!

thanks in advance for any suggestions.

There are much better/ stiffer factory stock options available for your rifle. The used hs precision stocks sell around 250 to 275 or you can buy a new bell and carlson for that amount as well.
