Remington model 788 22-250 what's it worth???

I have a remington 788 22-250 low round count leupold vari-x 3 6.5 X 20. What is it worth? In good shape with a little bit of pitting on the barrel. Wood stock in excellent condition. A Co worker interested in and I'm not sure the value? HELP!

There are two stock designs, and the older version could be had in walnut.
Most were in birch.
Good glass up top, will help a bunch with value...........assuming it's not got bad ring marks.

I saw a clean walnut stocked .243, with some figure in the wood (junk scope though) fetch $425 a yr ago in a shop, and it sat a while before it was purchased.
