I'm trying to get my uncles rifle repaired before deer season.
It's a Remington model 700 in .25-06.
The ejector rod is stuck flush with the bolt face.
I removed the retaining pin, to no avail. Ejector is still stuck.
Does anyone know what the average turnaround time is for Remington?
I do not want to send it in if it will not be back in time for deer season.
The rifle still fires just fine. It will not eject the spent casing, leaving the shooter to remove it by hand.
Uncle really wants to use this rifle for the upcoming season.
