I have a Mosin 91/30 and the muzzle brake on the end of the barrel is stuck and now bent. Any help on how to get it off without tearing up the gun? Please don't hassle me for modifying a classic rifle.

    Bent where?

If the bend isn't back to the crown, just cut the thing off ahead of the crown with a sawzall/dremel and end up with a nice thread protector.

I don't know nuggets but have seen that done to various AR flash hiders.

I am sorry for the double post, I didn't think just to post a reply to my original thread after I found out that getting it all the way on was down the drain after seeing the pic of it bent. So I posted this one

    I didn't know 91/30's had muzzle brakes.
    What does it look like?
    Not like this I hope!
