Select fire weapons are already legal, so wouldn't repealing the Hughes Amendment just mean that many more would be available on the market, but would still require going through the process of acquiring them under the NFA?
Not if we can manage to get both of them repealed.

If hughes alone were repealed I'm assuming a civilian would once again be allowed to convert their gun to select fire, with a $200 tax stamp.

But doesn't the hughes pre-ban state that the transferable select fire weapons are the ones on the NFA registry, so would repealing the NFA just take those guns off the market conpletely? And besides that how many people even know what a hughes amendment is?

I was amazed at how fast folks started signing it after MAC posted his video. I tried to get some of the "gun guys" at work to sign but had to listen to a rant about blood in the streets. For a bunch of guys with gadsden flags on their trucks and molon labe shirts they sure are afraid of guns. Pretty stoked that it finally made it to (over) 100,000 i signed both when they were first posted.

I and my wife have signed both. Forwarded the info to some buddies at work as well. Wish it would get more traction.
