That is why I strongly want them to simply drive a stake through its heart and kill it ASAP!

Otherwise, you will have arguing, wrangling, the democrats will get in and muck things around, dragging it out forever.

It needs one line to kill it on a certain date. That is the only way we are guaranteed this abomination dies! Then, IF the republicans want to make a few rules changes that will take place on the same day that the ACA dies, fine. But make certain we have killed the ACA first and foremost.

Alas, I am afraid that ain't gonna happen.

Trump's a populist on healthcare. He'll say what he thinks will get more people to support him. Right now that means something other than complete repeal, so that is what we are seeing.

Eliminate obiecare completely, remove insurance companies completely. Fold all the program's responsibilities into medicaid and add all all the state medicaid as well. Make one big honkin federal program to hand out the cash to the medical industrial complex and fund it with a big tax that everybody pays, it's even withheld from any benefits people receive like welfare, social security, child support etc. Everybody gets a "health insurance" withholding no exceptions. Straight up or down vote and then face the rath or accolades of the electorate in the next cycle.

Trump will sign whatever comes to his desk that repeals Obamacare. We need to slap our congress around until they get this done. RIGHT NOW!

If Donnelly is gonna side with Obamacare, let's find out, right now. The same with Manchin and the rest of those red state dem senators.

Even in the House, let's get this to a vote, right now. Make the dems vote this down, if they are gonna. Then we have more to talk about.

How can you be so cynical? This has been their winning platform that gets voters out in droves to continually keep them in the majority.
