Repurposed medical case

A doctor friend gave me a medical tool case a couple of years ago and I had good intentions of making a pistol case out of it. Today I did. I gutted it and cut 3" thick insulation board to size. I traced around my two Ruger Vaqueros in 38 spl, my Ruger .22, my pocket pistol and my derringer with a pencil. I then routed out the pockets for the pistols to lay in. I put some closed cell foam in the lid. The case turned out awesome. Glad I finally did this project.

I'd be concerned with trapping moisture if you use it for any long term storage.

Only using it for to and from matches. Moisture wont be a problem. Besides it has one heck of a seal.
