Was it anti American or just bad filmmaking?

Film-making. The camera the guy used to film was horrible.

During the first 20 minutes, the view goes helter-skelter so often it almost seems deliberate. It's very disorienting. I almost walked out rather than get motion-sickness.

The view settles down noticeably at the 20 minute mark.

The perspective of the film is not anti-American. But the service members the movie focuses on are cads, bless their hearts. And there is a chapter that takes a raw look at collateral damage.

Was hoping it would be inspiring in some aspect. It's not.
