Think the KSG or the UTS-15 shotguns are a new breakthrough? In 1967, High Standard brought out the Model 10-A semi automatic 12 gauge. It had a giant light on top to boot!

I read about this in the new American Rifleman.

Tax time is coming up, and either the KSG or the UTS joined several other guns on the table. After looking at reviews on both of them, I think I'll pass on them both.

The KSG stands on top due to being ambi-friendly, as I shoot long guns lefty. The major drawbacks that I see to it are the reliability issues, and the shell ejection seems to be pretty rough on some peoples wrists. I also don't like the fact that you have to manually select which tube to fire from.

As for the UTS, the automatic tube changing is very nice, but I don't like the slide release being so far back on the stock. Since I shoot lefty, I'm also not a fan of getting spent shells in my face.

I think I'll wait until some other manufactures start making large capacity shotguns before making a choice.

Mossberg also had a bullpup years ago.
Did you know Glock wasn't the first polymer frame pistol, HK had one 12 years before the Glock 17 ever came out.
That's one advantage of being older, you remember stuff that the kids of today don't have a clue on.
