    I agree.

    I also believe that, in general, no constitutional right should be permanently revoked.

    I'm guessing that the people proposing "no guns for hate crime misdemeanors" don't have an issue with felons voting either.
    No doubt most of them support illegal aliens voting, so incarcerated felons voting is a given

    i have wondered if i walk into a movie theater and yell fire, will i loose my 1st amendment rights? it would seems so if i can loose one right the others rights should be a loss also!!

    I have thought the same for many years.

    If one is unable to be trusted to exercise his rights without encroaching those of others, a strong case can be made for continued incarceration.
