I'm down to 2 revolvers and spent time adjusting the sights on both of these revolvers.
I had to buy this set of mini-screwdrivers tonight at the Wanamaker Feed and Seed and earlier I'd bought the Bench bags.

    I have this pic at 20', 30' and 40'.
The last row was using DA instead of SA.
The Ruger has a better DA than the heavier pull of the Taurus.
The Taurus feels better in my hand, though, but I wish it was a 6" barrel and not a 4" like I've got.
A member here had the longer barrel a few months back in the Classifieds but he lived too far away and neither one of us wanted to do a long drive.
If it would have been summer I could have done it.

Looks as though the Taurus was still grouping fairly well for you at the longer distance.

I only have two 22lr revolvers as well including a Taurus 96. When I first saw it in the display case at the shop I thought it was a Smith 17. I used to shoot it quite a lot but have a difficult time with the sights these days. I'm going to contact Weigand about a reflex sight mount.

    1. I'll have to shoot them both at 20' SA, ran out of time this evening.

    2. I know what you mean by the sights! I need help myself. For now I've been using flourescent gun sight paint, and if I get to a point where I know I'm going to keep a gun I would buy some sights for some of my guns. I have 2 red dots: one on a Ruger Charger and one I have to put on something, and not sure what yet, perhaps I'll get around to it this summer.
    3. The gun you're showing, is that the Taurus you spoke of? It certainly looks like a keeper!

I had a GP100 and couldn't get used to the trigger. It was over 12 pounds and really hard to keep steady in DA. I sold it after I sent it back to Ruger for repair. While the trigger was smooth, the pull was long and hard. I shoot a GP100 match champion and that gun is a dream. I just got a S&W 617 and have been trying to sight it in. The front sight post is too short and I can't get the POI down. I have a taller Dawson fiber sight coming so I can get this gun sighted in. I love the trigger. It also has no kick at all so it is a dream to shoot.
