That article sure does make it sound interesting. Maybe a little over the top with enthusiasm, but I would not turn down the chance to shoot one.The Rock Island Armory 5.0 Radically Revolutionary
The Rock Island Armory 5.0 is like the yeti, your daughter’s imaginary uni-corn, or the elusive fiscally-responsible congressman. It is the sort of mystical thing that you overhear folks speaking of in veiled whispers at the range while they glance furtively about, but you’re not convinced it’s...americanhandgunner.com

Whoa! The grip angle looks painful to shoot. Seems like Tonya Harding may want one. And what is with the odd trigger guard? Pass. Thanks for sharing, though.
MSRP is $1000. Probably find one for around $800-900 possibly. Was semi interested until I saw the price point.
Yep. Not going to pay more than 5 for anything made by riaMSRP is $1000. Probably find one for around $800-900 possibly.
This one is made right here in the US. That's probably why it's a little steeper than the Philippine made pistols.Yep. Not going to pay more than 5 for anything made by ria
From what I saw in a one of the review videos, the grip angle is very similar to that of the Hi-Power. It's also not a hammerless gun, there's a small, mostly enclosed hammer only visible from the rear.Glock shooter, huh?
I don’t think it looks too bad, honestly. It’s slightly more vertical than say a P226 or 92X, but it does look kinda weird on a hammerless gun w/ such a low bore axis. Proof will be in the pudding, however!
