    Goal: Take a stock DPMS 16" gun, spice it up a bit, and throw a can on it.

    Needs: Different stock (current 6 pos P.O.S.), trigger work, hand guard swap, CAN

    Questions: Which can is right for me? I don't have a need to remove suppressor for any reason. I'd like to stay on the cheap side for this makeover, yet dont want to sacrifice function.

    This rifle currently has a railed gas block, if that's a problem it can definately be replaced. I'd like to go with a longer handguard probably railed.

    Budget for whole project including tax stamp: $1,500
