The first Saturday morning of every month May through November, the North Porter County Conservation Club in Chesterton hosts a low-key rimfire match at 9am Central Daylight Time.
Each month match director Jeff Loewe runs a different type of match. This particular month it's straight .22LR rifles. other months may be for pistols or both long and short guns together.
There are a variety of targets including paper, steel, and frangible.
This is a good match for introducing younger and newer shooters to competition. It's low-pressure, fun shooting.
The match fee is only $5. Setup begins about 7:30 and help is always appreciated.

Following the rimfire match, our regular monthly USPSA match setup begins around 12:30pm. Setup folks can shoot through afterwards for ten bucks.
The main match is Sunday morning at 9:00am, and the match fee is $15.
Four field courses by four different designers are in the mix this month.

We also have steel challenge (second Saturday), SASS (second Sunday), IDPA (third Sunday), international multigun (certain fourth Sundays) and trap (first Sunday afternoons). Lots to do

Hope to see you out there. (Keep that Central time thing in mind!)
