My wife's cousin's husband is suffering right now from deep Alzheimers. Joan was telling me about visiting with them and how depressing it was to see such a vibrant, loving guy reduced to almost infancy.

I told her that if I ever get to that state for her just to push me off a bridge and say I slipped. She replied, "Oh, I love you too much to do that." Then she paused for a beat, and said, "I'll pay someone to do it for me."

Wow alice Cooper looks a lot better than he did several years ago when I did some work for him. I have some pics of him and me and him together and he looks terrible. I didn't think he was gonna live another 10 years honestly. He looks and sounds great

I have been saying for many years that Roy Clark is the greatest living guitar player.:yesway:

Glen Campbell was one of the original members of "The Wrecking Crew"....If you have not see the documentary it's on Netflix and you'll realize that nearly every big hit in the 1960's had the Wrecking Crew on the ORIGINAL album....Glen was the guitarist and where he learned his chops...

R.I.P. Glen...You and so many other were the soundtrack of my youth...Plus you got to be married to Tanya Tucker.......

That doc is amazing. I don't think it's streaming anywhere, but it's only a few bucks on Amazon. Worth every penny.:yesway:

It was made by the son of Tommy Tedesco, also an amazing guitar player. It took him years to make because the expense of clearing the 100+ songs in the film was absurdly high. Some artists offered them for free, but wouldn't accept that. It was important to him to pay for all of them and support the artists that made them.

The Wrecking Crew is still available on Netflix. I just checked. I've seen it four or five times. It is more than worth multiple viewings if you're a child of the 60s, or just interested in great music.

For something a little different who knew that Campbell was an excellent bag piper? I didn't.
