My two concerns were the Glock factory unsupported barrel, and will the pistol malfunction if fired with only one hand? (aka limpwrist). An aftermarket barrel is an option for improving the chamber. (More $$$).

Not sure how the Glock would compair to other platforms in one handed firing performance?

I think the XDm 10mm would be a better way to go. It has great ergonomics, and a supported chamber along with a better trigger and sights and that is stock. No upgrades. That would cost you just about as much as the glock itself to get it to the XDm 10mm stock pistol.

Would like a 10mm for carry in Alaska. Don't trust a Glock with full power Underwood loads. Wish CZ made a 10mm handgun.
I have a Glock Model 40 and have shot Underwood 200 grain Hardcast through it and it works fine.
The only change I'd consider is putting a stronger Recoil Spring in it, as it throws the brass pretty far.

So, I've gotten myself my first 10mm. I really like it.
SR1911 10mm for anyone who wondered.

How do all of you see the 10mm. This is NOT directly a caliber flame war, but I'm sure that will come up. Just wondering the general INGO feeling on the round.
I have a Colt Delta Elite in 10mm my favorite gun

I bought my first 10mm's maybe 25 yrs ago, S&W's and the reason I bought them was mainly personal satisfaction! My friend at the time had a couple .45's and kept bragging about them so I got a couple 10mm's and informed him they were more powerful than his wimpy 45's. LOL

I ordered a stainless Delta Elite before they even got to the distributors.

Then I came across a S&W 1006 and bought it.

Now I'm trying to find a stainless Ruger GP-100 Match Champion in 10mm but none of the distributors have any at the moment. Ruger says they are still making them.
