Roberts Defense 1911

Has anyone heard of or had experience with Roberts defense 1911? My father in law has the chance to get great deal on one but I haven't heard much on the company. Anyone got any feed back?

Good friend works for a fairly large gun store here in southern, In. and said they have struggled with issues out of the ones they have sold.

Bought one last year. I love it though the manufacturer has not responded to repeated requests for factory mags. It's light weight, accurate and my old eyes love the sights....
