Romanian AK mags ???

I'm looking at buying some 40 rnd AK mags the seller says are Romanian. Anyone have experience with these type mag

If they are factory standard metal AK mags, the 40 rounders are just as good as the 30s.

Just make sure they aren't the 30s that someone cut and extended to make a 40. You can tell them by the cut line a few inches above the floor plate.

The 40s were intended for RPKs but will work in any 7.62 AK . Feel free to correct me if I am way off here, but for some reason the steel on some Romanian 40s seems thinner then on Romanian 30s. I prefer the 30s personally.

As Indy said, the factory built 40 rounders run 100%.
