Anyone w/ experience on this conversion. Available for both 1911 and 5"XD handguns? Springfield makes the XD 45 compact w/ 5" barrel and am wondering why you couldn't use it for the conversion. Other than the shorter grip what's the difference between full size XD 45 tactical and XD 45 compact w/ 5" barrel?
