Yes, good price. I will second the quality of Butler Creek--pretty flawless. Now if we could just find some ammo to put in them! I was at Walmart in Valparaiso a few hours ago, and the only .22 in stock was a few shotshells and .22 shorts...

24.99 a good price? They were 14.99 there a month ago

The best I can find the steel lip version before was ~20. There isn't a big difference between the plastic and steel lip in function, but there is in longevity. I've worn out the standard plastic one I had originally(probably had about 2500 rounds through it, probably my rough loading habits...) but have run 2-3x the number of rounds through the steel replacement and it's as good as new.

If you ever get a chance try the Ruger BX-25 have a couple of them. They are great mags but like most others you can not find them.

I have the 10/22 Takedown. I was told it was a little particular to the extended magazines. I have 4 of the BX25, and they are perfect. Probably put a thousand rounds through it with zero problems.

    Helloooooo.........

    Order them from Ruger. ;)

    10_22-BX-25-Magazine-Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc.

It will take 3-4 weeks, but you'll get them, and at a fair price.

Ordered mine on Dec 23rd, got them yesterday. Along with a $10 gift certifcate. ;)

I used to have a Butler Creek with the plastic lips, and feeding was horrible for the first 10 rounds. Metal feed lips would have solved the problem, so these sound like a decent product.

I already have 2 of the steel lip Butler Creek mags. Bought them last year. I liked them.
Once I found out that you could take the Ruger BX-25 apart to clean, I decided to order 2 more mags from Midway. They were $21.95 ea. (on sale) just before Christmas. No problem, I wasn't in no hurry.
Unfortunately they won't be available until 3/31/2013.

How are those Ruger bx-25 mags? After purchasing a HC3R mag for my 10/22 i don't think i could ever switch to anything else, but the rugers are $9 cheaper so just curious.

I have mine on order! Thanks nipprdog! If you own the Butler Creek Hot Lips magazines try a shot of WD40. A shot down into the mag works great for me.
