Ruger 22 Charger optics and ammo

Any of you Charger owners out there use a scope with this gun? I have a red dot on it but would like to find a nice scope for it for some longer shots. Any thoughts?

Also, it seems to be particular about the ammo I feed it. I shot some bulk Federals when it was jamming so I bought some golden bullets and cci stingers to try out sometime soon.

I just bought a Charger in January, and I love it. I have a red dot on it as well. I have a Simmons 2x-6x pistol scope for it, but I'm not sure I like messing with the eye relief. I might be better off with a rifle scope on it. I think it really depends upon how you intend to shoot it. If you are going to be shooting from a bench or the ground, you might better off with a rifle scope on it.
